V2 recording studio was originally just a long rectangular white room set on the forth floor overlooking the canal. The room consisted of a front door, fitted kitchen unit and sink at one end and a large window on the facing wall.

We partitioned up the room into four seperate rooms, the window end being the studio, DJ booth and Vocal booth in the middle and a reception area by the Sink and door.

We didnt use much in the way of sound insulation due to cost, but we did carpet the walls and thicken the partitions to avoid bleed-through.

All this workes quite well supprisingly enough!
